The Kokouhoue District is one of the most deprived districts in Togo. In fact in terms of education the district is the most deprived among the most deprived districts in Togo in respect of ranking for input criteria, access, achievement and overall criteria.
Since MPGC-TOGO targets the advancement of humanitarian relief, it has decided to pursue a developmental and a promotional agenda with the view to improving the quality of lives of people within the Hill region and throughtout Togo.

The Problem
Illiteracy, poverty, disease, ignorance, constitutes the picture of much of the Kokouhoue District. Poor social and economic infrastructure, poor social services: water, electricity, education, health, employment opportunities, skills etc are the hallmark of the district.
